Has anyone taken this course and can they testify to the quality of it? There's a lot of these courses that aim to teach you different things bundled up together but it's hard to know if those teaching actually do a good job of it upfront. I'm also curious about how up to date the React part is since that ecosystem is evolving so rapidly and this was published a year ago.
@daenney Don't expect to learn everything about React, RethinkDB and Golang in one course, no course can give you the knowledge you need, you should practice and then year by year you get the experience and all the benefits from that.
It's true that this course is released almost a year ago, but, the tools and the flow you should follow is the same, don't worry.
If you are a 'beginner' or with small experience (2-3 years) on web apps the answer is yes it will help you if you decide to take this course.
In the other hand if you already know how react js works and you have an experience with golang for web applications and websockets then you don't necessary need this course, you can just combine your knowledge to build a real time web application.
My recommendation: take any course you can find, compare the things you knew before the course and what you learnt after the course. Every course can you give you something, maybe you do things wrong and you think that you know how to do it but in reality you don't. It's good to learn from different programmers to see how the rest of us thinking and how the same problem can be solved by using different techniques, design and logic
Thanks for posting, I've removed some tags as they were too prominent. Please don't use the tags to promote offers/deals, 1 or 2 tags on the subject should be enough (they are for finding other similar stories rather than giving your story prominence).
Ok, thanks. I do not win something from this, I just posted the tag for the offer (which I found by searching on variety forums and I wanted to share it) in order to let people know that is cheap and everyone can pay for that, even "poor" programmers. Sorry
No problem really, I realise you don't benefit from it. Just want to keep the tags as topics.
